Dr. Julie Peipers, Principal Senior Osteopath

Julie has been treating adults and children for nearly 30 years. Having graduated in 1996, she immediately began her professional career as a clinician in private practice and as a lecturer in osteopathy at RMIT University where she stayed teaching students for over 20 years.

She is co-owner of Northcote Osteopathic Clinic, treating adults, children, babies, pregnant women, sporting injuries and the elderly. It is the diversity of general practice that keeps her happy.

Having 4 children of her own has helped Julie to understand the many problems that women can have in pregnancy and has helped develop her approach to treating babies and children.

Julie is the Chairperson of RMIT University Osteopathy Industry Advisory Committee. She teaches osteopaths around Australia Professional Development courses and has consulted and taught osteopathy internationally in both India and Japan.

Julie uses many different osteopathic techniques such as soft-tissue massage, joint mobilisation, manipulation, muscle energy technique, visceral and cranial osteopathy and believes in a patient centered, holistic approach to health care.
